You have a job – your career exploration should be over now, right? Actually, career exploration is a continuous process. Although you’ve been through the steps of assessing yourself, exploring your options, gaining the skills you need, and finding a job, you still need to manage your career. Even if you intend (or actually do) stay at one job your entire work life, you will deal with transitions in your job responsibilities and job security, be expected to keep up-to-date with changes in your profession and most likely be encouraged to continue learning. It’s also important to continually evaluate your career goals and make sure you are on the right path. Remember – you can always start the career exploration process again!
